Galerie Cécile Fakhoury
Boulevard Latrille Cocody, 06 bp 6499 Abidjan 06 / cecilefakhoury.com
Tuesday - Saturday: 10AM - 7PM and by appointment

Opened in September 2012 and based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, the Cécile Fakhoury gallery works to promote contemporary art on the African continent. The gallery, through its personal and collective exhibitions, its participation in international fairs and biennales and its collaborations with foreign galleries gives visibility to the creativity and the contemporary artistic diversity in Africa. Thanks to their identities and their respective histories, the artists of the gallery are distinguished by a language that has the particularity of abolishing borders by refusing geographical stigmatization. Observers of the world in which they live, these artists take an enlightened and critical look at our society, recording their history, contributing to the living memory of their countries and redefining their links to the world.
