Amanda Church's bright figurative works suggest a cartoonish perspective on everyday events––with the occasional bizarre turn. Cell phones, half empty drinks, hands and misshapen perspectives make for a subtly surreal take on daily minutiae. Bloated hands, awkward pauses, connection and its lack––Amanda Church shows a modern world from a post-modern angle.
