ArtSümer, founded in 2005 by Aslı Sümer, focuses on showcasing cutting-edge contemporary art by local and international emerging artists. artSümer represents artists at early stages of their career development, whose diverse practices include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and new media. The gallery program consists of rotating solo exhibitions, participation in international art fairs and curated group shows of artists without gallery representation.       BAP//ISTANBUL is the Istanbul branch of BERLINARTPROJECTS located in Berlin. The gallery in Istanbul promotes artists to create its own portfolio. It also hosts the exhibitions of the artists promoted by BERLINARTPROJECTS to draw the attention of the Turkish art scene to these new talents. BAP//ISTANBUL supports its young artists at the beginning of their careers by giving them the chance to show their work to the international art world.       Gallery Ilayda was founded in 1992 by Sergül Okay in Ankara. On its 10th anniversary, Sergul Okay’s daughter Ilayda Babacan established Istanbul branch.       Krampf Gallery

      Pi Artworks Istanbul/London was founded in 1998 by Yeşim Turanlı in Ortaköy, Istanbul and is now one of Turkey’s foremost contemporary art galleries. In 2008, ten years after it was founded, Pi Artworks led the way by becoming the first of over ten galleries to relocate to Istanbul’s Tophane district. Three years later in 2011 it expanded once more by opening its current venue at Mısır Apartment and in 2013 Pi Artworks became the first gallery from Turkey to open a venue in London and branch out internationally.       Zilberman Galeri

      Zilberman Gallery was founded in Istanbul in 2008. Its aim is twofold: to promote contemporary artists from Turkey internationally and to introduce international artists to the local art scene. Zilberman Gallery stages 10-12 exhibitions in a year at its main gallery space and project space. The gallery occupies two separate floors of Mısır Apartment, one of the most famous examples of art nouveau architecture in Istanbul, designed in 1910 by Ottoman Armenian architect Hovsep Aznavur.
