The piece is homage to actress Mrs. Nora Gregor. She was an actress born in Damjan’s hometown Gorizia before World War I.  She first played in different theaters in Italy, Slovenia and Austria. But she also played in Hollywood movies. This pieces represents an abstract hair clip as well as a form of her movement on the stage. In the Slovenian language Nora has a double meaning: “crazy in a good way.” Nora was a little crazy in her heart, but her actions were magnificent. Gold leaves represent tje magnificent actions she made in her life. A Slovenian cultural association curated an exhibition in Nora’s honor which was published in a book named Nora Gregor: The Imperfection of Beauty.
