Inspired by the demoralizing and transformative events of the BLM development in 2020, this artwork required to be placed in the mind and perspective of a racist individual to portray what an African American person would resemble in their mind (barbaric, uneducated, aggressive, incomplete). Eyes are gateways to our souls and expose our true selves, an individual who believes and supports racism does not take the time to look into the eyes of whom they refuse to accept, thus leaving the eyes hollow.
